Accessible Bathroom
Remodels
Everyone deserves a bathroom that is accessible to them and with our skilled contractor we can help find a solution for any accessibility need.
This before image illustrates many obstacles for a person with any mobility challenges, narrow doorway, inaccessible sink, hard to access toilet, no grab bars and a tub.
In order to find a solution for this client we widened the door from 28″ to 36″ and put in a wheelchair accessible sink. The toilet remains the same at the ADA approved height of 17.5″ but with more room for transferring and additional grab bars. The tub was removed and a beautiful roll-in tile shower was installed. To insure the most accessibility this shower has an adjustable height shower head on a hose which we installed on an easy to use shower pole. For safety there are multiple grab bars inside as well as outside of the shower. The shower curtain has two adjustable heights in order for a caretaker to aid in the showering without getting all wet.
Roll-In Shower
Are you a person who uses a wheelchair? Do you care for a person who uses a wheelchair? Does even a four inch curb to enter a tub-less shower pose an accessibility challenge.
Have you considered a roll-in shower?
Roll in showers provide an ease of use that many persons who use a wheelchair have not experienced. For some the joy found in being able to comfortably shower is a feeling that they haven’t experienced. We want to help bring ease, freedom and even joy to our clients. Every person deserves to easily access all areas in their home and the shower should be one of them.
